EC Man Due In Court For Raping A 13-Year-Old Boy
A 45-year-old suspect was arrested last week in Libode, Eastern Cape, for the alleged rape of a 13-year-old boy. The suspect allegedly ambushed the boy and committed the sexual assaults at his home overnight.
Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Eastern Cape said the boy escaped from his captor the next day and the incident was reported.

According to the boy’s family, a teacher noticed the 13-year-old couldn’t walk properly and sent him home, notifying the family, who inspected the child’s body and discovered swelling around his genitals. The boy then told them what had happened.
“At first, the boy did not want to tell us what happened, saying he was scared of telling us, but eventually he reported to us that he was raped.
“He said he was locked all night after he was kidnapped on his way from a soccer match in the afternoon. He was sodomised and then the suspect masturbated on him,” said an aunt to the broadcaster.
